Oceanic Global’s LA Hub partnered with the newly opened 1 Hotel West Hollywood to launch a monthly happy hour and discussion series “Sip & Learn” from October – November 2019. The series was a platform for ocean warriors in LA to find community and learn more about our Oceanic Global Hubs Program and how to get involved in the LA Hub initiatives and programs! Each event included a cocktail reception with happy hour pricing and a focused discussion led by an expert guest speaker to dive deeper into topics surrounding ocean health.

Our guest speaker for November will be LA Hub Steering Committee member, J.P. Gaofalo, Co-Founder of Malibu Oyster Co., who will lead a discussion on sustainable, local aquaculture.
