The First- Ever Blue Verified Global Festival Series: Corona Sunsets World Tour

Corona x Oceanic Global: Bringing the Blue Standard to the 2023 & 2024 Corona Sunsets World Tour.

As a brand born at the beach, Corona has partnered with nonprofit Oceanic Global to implement the Blue Standard, a cross-industry sustainability standard across its 2023 music festival series ‘Corona Sunsets World Tour.’ The festival series is the first-ever global festival series to be Blue Verified in its entirety.

Following the launch of Corona Island in 2022, the Sunsets World Tour builds upon the commitment to celebrate the beauty of nature while preserving the environment.

Innovative solutions included plastic-free food & beverage offerings and repurposed design elements, to carbon offsets & solar-powered elements, locally-sourced food experiences, educational activations, proving sustainability is rooted firmly at the heart of the experience.

To date, Oceanic Global has Blue Verified Corona Sunsets Festivals in the following locations: South Africa, Peru, Chile, Colombia, Italy, United Kingdom, Japan, China, Brazil and the Dominican Republic.

The festival series is the first-ever globally verified Blue Verified event, attracting over 54,000 attendees across 10 countries and employing 2,445 local staff members.
