How is plastic pollution threatening the health of the ocean?
Every minute, nearly two garbage trucks’ worth of plastic is dumped into the ocean. Ocean plastic negatively impacts marine environments, decreases biodiversity, drives climate change, impacts the food chain, and subsequently threatens human health.
We need to address plastic pollution at the root by holding polluting industries accountable. That’s why we’re calling on everyone in our U.S community to join us in our support of the Break Free From Plastic Pollution Act (BFFPPA)!
