Why do you care deeply about the Ocean/what inspires you to protect it?

I’ve always had a love and fascination for our marvelous ocean and marine life! I was born and raised in beach towns! I have a deep understanding and respect for sharks as well as they seem to be the most misunderstood and I’m fully aware of the harm humans are causing due to our over consumption of well just about everything polluting our sea…so we must be more conscious of our daily choices as those lead to the massive issue we are now facing. I live in Bali at the moment which has come a long way when it comes to plastic pollution but still has a long way to go! I have my reusable water bottle with me pretty much everywhere I go and try to reframe from using plastic as much as possible as I always have my own reusable bags etc. We aren’t perfect beings but as long as we are conscious ,we can do our best to make the change we want to see in the world.
