The ocean is at the center of climate change, and is the undervalued hero of our global crisis. Making up 70% of our planet, it acts as Earth’s temperature regulation system, absorbs most of the CO2 humankind generates, and is home to most of the world’s life.
The link between climate and ocean is close, and complicated. For Climate Week 2020 Oceanic Global breaks these links down into bite-size pieces to help those unfamiliar with the topics at hand take the first step in making change: caring & understanding.
