Oceanic Global is thrilled to be the charity partner to PHOENX limited-edition suitcase, a newly launched sustainable luggage brand. Together with PHOENX, we co-designed this limited-edition of the PHOENX Carry-On suitcase TELA – the world’s first truly sustainable carry-on suitcase made from recycled and recyclable materials. Its shell and handles are entirely made from recycled plastic, all interiors from recycled PET bottles and the wide telescopic trolley comes with recycled aluminum.
PHOENX takes sustainability beyond the actual product. By introducing the “Modular Design” – the world’s first design concept that is centered around replaceability, customisability & recyclability – PHOENX allows for seamless detachment of all core components including wheels, aluminum handle, side- and top handles or interiors. Thus, PHOENX maximizes the lifespan of its TELA and ensures full sustainability as these core-components will be re-integrated into the production process.
