Oceanic Global is proud to award the Peace Boat with the Ocean Champion badge of The Oceanic Standard (TOS) (now rebranded to the Blue Standard) for their efforts to eliminate single-use plastics at the reception after the 2019 United Nations World Oceans Day event on Friday, June 7th.
On World Oceans Day, Saturday, June 8th, the Peace Boat hosted a family-friendly day-long series of events, exhibitions, workshops, and more to celebrate the work of speakers and partners of World Oceans Day on the water. Oceanic Global led a workshop on implementing The Oceanic Standard (TOS) (now rebranded to the Blue Standard) to kick-off the Ocean Talks on board the Peace Boat on World Oceans Day, Saturday, June 8th.
