On June 4th, Oceanic Global became Founding Partner in the first World Ocean Festival. The event was in partnership with the United Nations, the City of New York and Global Brain, and celebrated the beauty of our oceans and the urgent need to protect them.
The festival kicked-off the UN Ocean Conference week with a day of special events in the streets and waters of NYC. Oceanic Founder, Lea D’Auriol had the opportunity to speak about the importance of Goal 14, Life Below Water as a panelist during the event.
Together, we can #SaveOurOceans. World Ocean Festival is dedicated to advocating for action on a global scale for the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 14, which aims to promote conservation and sustainable use of the world’s oceans.
