On the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day, Oceanic Global partnered with Quintessentially to host a fireside chat on the topic of “Tackling Our Plastic Crisis” for their Elite members.
Oceanic Global Program Director, Cassia Patel, and Greenpeace UK‘s Head of Ocean Plastics, Louise Edge, discussed both the human and environmental health impacts of plastic pollution and how the fight against our single-use plastics crisis will evolve in a post-COVID world. Throughout the discussion, they suggested solutions that we can all implement in our daily lives to create positive change. Oceanic Global also shared how we are driving scalable behavior change through both grassroots initiatives and industry solution programs.
