Ocean Plastic Crisis Summit

February 20, 2018: Oceanic Global Founder, Lea D'Auriol, spoke on a panel discussing ocean plastic pollution with other leaders in the sustainability movement, hosted by the Royal Geographic Society in London.

On the 20th February 2018, Artists Project Earth presented the Ocean Plastic Crisis Summit at the Royal Geographic Society in London, bringing together experts in the field to discuss measures to address the ocean plastics crisis.

The event was hosted by Roger Harrabin and speakers and panelists included Bianca Jagger (President of Bianca Jagger Human Rights Foundation), Peter Maddox (Director, WRAP), Professor Edward Kosier (Nextek), Oliver Tickell (Environmental Journalist), Iain Gulland (Zero Waste Scotland), Dr Christian Schmidt (Helmholtz Centre, Leipzig), Professor Richard Thompson (University of Plymouth), Thais Vojvodic (Sustainability Manager, Coca-Cola Brazil), Willemijn Peeters (Searious Business), Natalie Fee (Founder, City to Sea), Bernard Merks (Co-Founder, Waste Free Oceans), and Oceanic Global Founder, Lea d’Auriol.
