The Brewhop 5K is an annual waterfront race through Randall’s Island Park ending at a craft beer fest with over 15 breweries, food vendors, live music and lawn games.
In collaboration with Oceanic Global, the 2017 Brewhop went entirely plastic-free in accordance with the Oceanic Standard. In addition, a percentage of ticket sales were donated to Oceanic Global, and personal donations were collected during registration.
Oceanic Global had a booth onsite that displayed the Oceanic AR app and provided educational information on plastic pollution.
