Oceanic Global Project Manager, Cassia Patel, was a panelist at the American Institute of Architects (AIA) International Region (IR) Conference: Crossroads in Convergence in Singapore on November 4th, 2018.
Alongside cross-category experts in design and the built environment, Cassia presented The Oceanic Standard and outlined how Oceanic Global’s efforts support UN Sustainable Development Goals.
The AIA IR is a leadership platform of the American Institute of Architects to share global best practices. This year’s gathering primarily touched on three threads of convergence, “Tradition & Innovation”, “Resilience & Sustainability”, and “Wellness & Placemaking”.
The conference also earned the highest level of The Oceanic Standard, the Ocean Champion badge for being plastic-free!
